About Tom

A Life On Camera

For more than four decades, Tom Selleck has been one of American television's most recognizable leading men. His breakout role as private investigator Thomas Magnum in Magnum, P.I. defined an era, earning him an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a permanent place in the cultural memory of the 1980s.

From 2010 to 2024, he anchored CBS's Blue Bloodsas New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan — a role that spanned fourteen seasons and made the Reagan family Sunday dinner a fixture in millions of American homes.

In 2026, Tom returns to television as the host and executive producer of Crime and Justice, a new History Channel documentary series examining the landmark American cases that shaped modern law. It marks a deliberate shift — from starring roles to storytelling from behind the lens.

Between projects, Tom lives quietly on his California ranch, where he still writes correspondence by hand and prefers a good book to a busy calendar. The Inner Circle is his way of staying close to the audience that has stayed close to him.

"I've always believed the work speaks for itself. The Inner Circle is simply a way to speak, personally, to the people it's spoken to."
